Water Adventures

Enjoy water adventures of all kinds here. Fishing is a major draw with our rivers, lakes and Pacific Ocean options. You can also swim, surf, kayak, scuba dive, crab, clam or just comb our beaches. On the land, you can hit the sand on an ATV at the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. Take in a round of golf on some of America’s finest courses. Hike along the winding coastal trails, around lakes, through the forest, to the top of waterfalls and along the rivers. Take a walking tour of the quaint downtown areas and find that special treasure in one of our antique shops. For the runners, you can follow the same path that running legend and local hero, Steve Prefontaine, trained on as he worked his way towards the Munich Olympics.

There’s also Vegas-style gaming, live theater, a wonderful variety of restaurants to choose from, bowling and other leisure activities, as well as museums, shopping, tours and sightseeing.
