Starting Point
It shouldn’t come as any surprise that Canada’s largest and most diverse city is chock full of cultural, historical and culinary gems. Start your visit atop the CN Tower, where the sweeping views of Lake Ontario (and the death-defying option to walk on the outer edge) will literally take your breath away. For the opposite effect, there’s always a 20-minute ferry to the Toronto Islands, where you can rent bikes and soak in incredible skyline views all while feeling like you’ve escaped the hustle and bustle of big city life.

You can hear the thunderous roar of Niagara Falls before you can see the majestic collection of waterfalls that make up this iconic destination and the roar only grows louder as you get close enough to soak in the spray of the Niagara River’s 165-foot descent. The Cave of the Winds tour lets visitors on the falls’ U.S. side (you can access both the Canadian and U.S. sides via the Rainbow Bridge) descend to the foot of Bridal Veil Falls, where a veritable hurricane of wind and water showcase the raw power of nature.
