1. Atlantic City

2. Ocean City

Ocean City attracts beachgoing families throughout the summer season with its 8 miles of sandy shore and its famous boardwalk. Complete with shops and restaurants, the bustling boardwalk has long been celebrated for its family-friendly amusement parks, including Gillian’s Wonderland Pier, which dates to 1929. Feel like a buccaneer? The pirate-themed Playland’s Castaway Cove offers everything from thrill rides to go-karts.
3. Cape May

Slow things down with a visit to beautiful Cape May, a well-preserved historic town with winery tours, gourmet restaurants serving fresh seafood and shops selling souvenirs. Birders won’t want to miss the Cape May Bird Observatory, a prime spot for watching migratory birds. Everyone will appreciate the great views from the lighthouse in Cape May Point State Park.
