Cheyenne

There’s always something fun happening in the Cheyenne area, whether it’s high-energy rodeo or the culture of high tea!

Wyoming’s capital city embodies the spirit of the Old West. It is considered the nation’s rodeo and railroad capital, and is home to a variety of museums, historic hotels and mansions. There’s also a collection of steam engines, Western-themed attractions and shopping, and resorts and ranches.

More than 100 years after the city’s founding, Cheyenne Frontier Days is a 10-day festival of riproarin’ excitement, featuring the world’s best PRCA rodeo action and Western entertainment. It’s non-stop activity and hospitality at its Western best! In fact, Livability.com named Cheyenne Frontier Days as the top festival in the nation in their annual Top 10 Summer Festivals.

For 2017, Frontier Days charges out of the gate July 21–30. For 2018, Frontier Days will take place July 20–29.

Cheyenne Frontier Days includes PRCA rodeo and slack events, concerts, Professional Bull Riders, USAF Thunderbirds, parades, pancake breakfasts, a Western Art Show & Sale, Carnival, Old West Museum and an Indian Village.
