Pond of Plenty

Less than half an hour to the south, Killens Pond State Park is a picturesque retreat perfect for day-tripping families. Home to bass, catfish, crappie and more, the park’s 66-acre pond will keep anglers happy, while canoes, kayaks and pedal boats are also available to rent.

Rehoboth Beach

Plan your next beachside getaway for the coastal city of Rehoboth, Delaware. Better known as Rehoboth Beach, the coastal playground offers year-round attractions and activities for vacationers of all ages.

Boardwalk Fun

Stroll the mile-long wooden boardwalk and browse quirky shops. Catch the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand Summer Concert Series, a free event that’s been held since 1963 and draws more than 50 bands to perform in the open-air concert venue on weekend evenings.

Sussex County

With a rich history and rich natural resources, Sussex County is a gem of a getaway. Stretching from the Atlantic Coast inland to Maryland, Sussex County fills much of southern Delaware. Whether you want to relax with your toes in the sand or actively explore ruggedly beautiful landscapes, Sussex County has a place for you.

A Bounty of Beaches

Sussex County has over 25 miles of shoreline. Popular coastal towns include Rehoboth Beach, Fenwick Island, and Bethany Beach. Held as public lands since 1682, Cape Henlopen State Park has been preserved as a sublime piece of the Delaware Coast.
