Year-round Fishing and Hunting

Featuring over 2,000 lakes and 8,000 miles of rivers, anglers will have no trouble finding excellent fishing spots. Fishing enthusiasts in search of trout will find plenty of it in Fryingpan River, while walleye and smallmouth bass teem in the Horsetooth Reservoir, Boyd Lake State Park and Carter Lake. Hunters will get the opportunity to bag whitetail deer in the grasslands, and even mule deer and elk in the mountains.
