Some people have asked us about our favorite RV camping Christmas ornaments. Well, we love this little guy (http://amzn.to/126OI24), a beautiful hand-painted ornament. The RV in question looks like an Airstream to our eyes. At around $15, it’s reasonably priced and never fails to elicit a smile.
Collecting fun Christmas ornaments is a seasonal tradition that many of us share. Our tree is mostly covered in gold ornaments, but we’ve got a few choice silver ornaments such as this one that round out the tree.
We have several camping themed ornaments, including another one called “Airstream Dream” that was a joint project of Hallmark and Airstream. The “Airstream Dream” was only sold in 2007 and thus is now a true collector’s item (with a price to match).
Yet one of our favorites is this humble $15 one that reads, “Home is where you hook up.”
In addition to being a great looking ornament, it’s sturdy and well made. Of course I wouldn’t want to drop it, but that applies for most of our Christmas ornaments.
It’s made of ceramic material instead of glass. It’s actually the sort of ornament that you might leave resting on a desk or bookshelf all year long. If you’re looking for a special tree decoration or stocking stuffer, this is a fun one and that makes for a fine conversation piece.
