I keep a well-stocked first-aid kit for my dog in a carrier that is kept in a closet in the bathroom of my RV. This kit includes all supplies needed for temporary care in the event of an emergency, and will help stabilize the situation until I can get the dog to a vet. I include my vet’s phone number as well as the number for poison control (800-222- 1222), my dog’s up-to-date medical and rabies shot records and a quick-reference booklet on canine first aid.
