St. Augustine, Florida

For the perfect place to RV with some history and beaches look no further than St. Augustine Florida City is the oldest continuously occupied city in the United Sates, and with that fact you are sure to brush up on your history. A perfect way to get a tour of the historic downtown district is on a Red Train tour. In the city you can visit the fabled fountain of youth. While it is not the actual mythical fountain it stands as a tribute to where Ponce de León landed in his quest to eternal youth. Also in St. Augustine are the original Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum and the old Spanish Quarter where it has set up a living history museum.

If you like the beach you can park your RV at the North Beach Camp Resort just five minutes away from downtown St. Augustine. At this campground you can see the sunrise on the Atlantic and the sun set on the Intercostals.
