Meteor Crater is the best-preserved meteorite impact site on Earth! Located in Northern Arizona, its topographical terrain closely resembles the surface of the moon and other planets. So closely, in fact, that United States astronauts use the area as a training site.

At Meteor Crater, visitors can see an actual Apollo Test Capsule, take a guided rim tour, explore the interactive Museum/Discovery Center and experience the new 4D Space Adventure! Join Commander Perseus and First Officer Jackie on an all-immersive space flight with special effects and full-motion seats aboard the STS Barringer on a mission to save Earth. Fly down into the Crater, and then off into space to intersect an asteroid that is on a collision course with Earth. Expanded Gift/Rock Shop and new Blasted Bistro Restaurant also open daily.
