Catherine’s Landing — Gateway to the Outdoors

In keeping with RVC’s commitment in redefining the camping experience, guests will find Catherine’s Landing, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to be a new variety of outdoor resort. Located along the shores of Lake Catherine, one of three lakes created by the damming of the Quachita River in the 1920’s to generate hydroelectricity in the area, the RV park was originally the home and site of the Humphreys’ Dairy Farm. This establishment served the local community for over 80 years until the family happily sold the land to RVC Outdoor Destinations, excited by their vision of what would become of 400 acres of forest, pastures and stream filled landscape.

RVC’s vision is to take the thrill and wonder travelers feel when we engage with the beauty of nature and pair it with the comforts and luxuries of a hotel experience. At Catherine’s Landing, this experience can be enjoyed by guests, whether they RV or rent one of the Resort’s cottages or yurts. The RV guest has the pleasure of concrete pads with full hook-ups, pull-through or back-in waterfront sites, all with 30- and 50-amp service, while the Cottages are furnished with fully equipped kitchens, flatscreen TVs, cable, private bathrooms, fresh towels and hotel linens. For those who wish to enjoy the adventure of a unique participation with space, staying in a Yurt is sublime. Elevated on your own private deck, the yurts come furnished with mini fridge, table and chairs, and hotel linens on all beds in close proximity to an upscale bathhouse featuring private showers.

Free WiFi is available throughout the Resort and all sites include BBQ grills, picnic tables and fire rings. There is a bark park for pets, which are also welcome in “pet friendly” yurts and cabins, and a large covered pavilion for big groups and family gatherings.

A concierge service helps guests manage their valuable leisure time by getting access to the best restaurants, services and attractions in the area, from which there are many to choose. The Resort itself offers a beautiful saline swimming pool, kayak and boat rentals. Also included is a Zip-line tour by Adventureworks, which covers 50 acres and includes 12 zips within easy walking distance to the park. Exercise room, family game room that includes Wii, beautiful lodge and retail store takes conventional camping to a whole new level at Catherine’s Landing in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
