Now that fall has arrived, many northern Michigan apple orchards are picking bushels of fruit in preparation for Charlevoix’s annual Apple Fest. The main event is situated in the downtown area, with an expansive arts and crafts show spanning from Bridge Park to East Park.

Apple Fest will also feature a petting zoo, face painting, and interactive miniature trains. Meanwhile, the downtown farmers’ market will also be in full swing. Here you’ll find Michigan maple syrup, local honey, fresh cider, and more. Make sure you stop by the food booths and try an appleflappen or a slice of Irish apple cake. Everything is apples this weekend, have fun with it!
