A Sweet Campground for Family Fun in Hershey

Trailer Life Cream of the Crop Campsites: Hershey Highmeadow Campground—Hershey, Pennsylvania

If you’re heading to the Sweetest Place on Earth, this is the place to park the rig! Hershey Highmeadow Campground has 225 gravel RV campsites, each with picnic table and fire grill. You have the option of a pull-thru site with full hookups (30/50 amp and cable TV) measuring 30×50’ or a back-in site (30×40’) with electrical (30/50 amp), water and cable TV hookups. Due to cold weather the water at the campsites is usually turned off November 1, although the park is open year-round.

The park features paved roads and a self-service laundry room. You’ll enjoy clean, modern restrooms with showers and wheelchair accessible facilities. Ice, firewood and LP gas are available at the country store, which also sells groceries and RV supplies. The park welcomes your quiet, leashed pets as long as they stay outside of park buildings (in accordance with PA health code).

Hershey Highmeadow Campground offers basketball, volleyball and shuffleboard courts, as well as horseshoe pits for an afternoon of fun. There are 2 swimming pools (open Memorial Day to Labor Day) and a kiddie wading pool for cooling off from the summer heat. The kids in your group will also enjoy the game room and outdoor playground.

NOTE: An active freight railroad runs adjacent to the park. Trains run 24 hours a day, seven days a week, although the frequency varies.
