Sun Valley Celebrates 38 Years as a Good Sam Park

Founded in 1976, Sun Valley Campground specializes in treating guests right. Now in its 38th year as a Good Sam Park, Sun Valley, located in Chillicothe, Ohio, boasts 50 spaces, a game room, rec room, playground and pond. The RV park caters to larger motorhomes, and offers 50-amp power in addition to 30-amp sites. Plans are in the works for expanding their amenities for bigger coaches.

Owner Norma Gartner says that understanding the customer is key to longevity of the park. “I treat people the way I want to be treated,” says Norma. “We give them a safe, clean environment with reasonable rates.”

Gartner says she always strives to provide a creating a clean, fun place where families and couples can feel welcome and comfortable during their travels.

“We have playground have two shelter houses for family reunions, birthday parties and wedding receptions,” explains Norma. “We love people and love to see families have a good time.”

Guests at Sun Valley can go fishing at the pond, set their kids loose at the playground and or simply relax in shaded sites. Good Sam Club members enjoy the 10 percent Good Sam Park discount.
