Perhaps the romantic escape is more your style. Fine dining for two easily comes with a view. And if family dining is your preference, there are plenty of places ready and willing to feed the entire clan. No matter what your taste or budget, there is sure to be something to satisfy your appetite in Flagler County.

Some of our visitors’ favorite places to dine are located in Flagler Beach, FL. A1A Burrito Works is a quaint taco shop with an eclectic menu. If you go with an empty belly, make sure to grab their famed Mexican UFO a chewy, crunchy, cheesy delight. Ninja Nic’s Mexicake is a powerhouse of flavor with veggies, beans, cheese, jalapenos and your choice of meat.

Looking for sea fare? The Flagler Fish Company has local fresh seafood on the menu as well as for sale at the counter. Their fish tacos are scrumptious and they have a lobster bisque that’s out of this world.

Remember that romantic meal?  Housed in the historic Topaz Hotel/Motel, Blue at the Topaz is known not only for its ambience but its innovative menu choices. Wasabi horseradish and honey crusted oysters and roast rack of lamb are two specialties.

Another unique location is at the airport in Palm Coast. High Jackers Restaurant offers a variety of seafood, sandwiches and specialty drinks. Come in and watch the planes land and take off. Enjoy the Pacific décor with a splash of aviation history.

Located in the “Hammock” on A1A in Palm Coast, you’ll find Hammock Wine & Cheese Shoppe. Order a cheese plate, some wine and enjoy the art gallery or the garden. Choose from over 600 imported and domestic wine and over 100 artisan cheeses.

Want to dine and cruise? Check out brunch, cocktail and dinner cruises offered on Hammock Beach Resort’s Sundancer Yacht! This 117’ beauty is fully equipped with two full bars, a full galley, lounge with fireplace and more.

Food is one of the highlights of many of our festivals, including the Taste of Flagler in April. This popular event at the Conservatory in Palm Coast is a local tradition to sample creations prepared by the county’s leading chefs. In May, the City of Bunnell celebrates the area’s agricultural roots with a day devoted to the spud – the Potato Festival.
