We had a very small 12 ft. RV. We went camping with our small children. Our son was just over a year. We thought he would be safe on the top bunk with out 3 year old and a safety rail. This very plump child slipped between the rail at night. We were sleeping below on the bed which protruded out further than the bunk. I was laying on my back on the outside. All of a sudden my husband hears a scream from me. This child had slipped out and landed on my chest. He was still sound asleep. He had apparently landed on something soft. After we gathered out whits we placed him still sleeping in the corner of our bed for the remainder of the night. Needless to say I had a very hard time going back to sleep.
