Rocky Roads

If you’re looking for a challenge, the varied landscape of Utah’s Canyonlands offers more than you can imagine. Largely a legacy of mining activities, thousands of miles of 4-wheeling and ATV trails stretch throughout the Canyonlands. A variety of scenery and a range of challenging trails offer the chance for countless days of exploration.

Green River is located within 60 miles of Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Capitol Reef National Park, Dead Horse Point State Park and Goblin Valley State Park. Fourteen miles west is the San Rafael Swell. It is a strikingly beautiful land of soaring cliffs, deep slot canyons, lonely towers and monolithic buttes, where wild burros and horses run free. It is also one of the last great American wilderness areas yet to be discovered by the parks, come and check out the San Rafael Swell. The “Swell” is twice as large as the state of Rhode Island and would be an extremely large National Park.

Choose Your Wheels

There are more than 20 routes and almost 300 miles of amazing country. Enjoy this awe-inspiring land from your car, Jeep, ATV, side-by-side, dirt bike, mountain bike, horse or on foot. The southern portion of the San Rafael is the location of Black Dragon Canyon. This part is called the San Rafael “Reef.” In this wild and tortured landscape, the “Reef” cuts through deep, sinuous slot canyons adorned with ancestral pueblo rock art panels and emerges as the spectacular eastern cliff line of the San Rafael Swell. Check out the Crystal Geyser, a spectacular phenomenon that erupts on the east side of the river. Again, we have free maps to direct you to these amazing sites.

Bring your off-road toys with you. The fun begins just 2 miles from our RV park. We have many super-long, 100-foot RV sites so that you can park whatever you have right in your space. We also have a 2-acre field, right in the middle of the park, or extra free parking. Most campers ride their fun machines right out of the park to the desert. If you get tired of flying around the countryside of your ATV, you can relax on the Green River golf course, right next door. This sweet little course is only $12.00 for 9 holes, carts available (seasonal rates may vary).
