RV Weekly Round-Up (Sept. 26 to Oct. 2, 2009)

Check out these highlights of RV-related news, events and video from this past week.

1. Hemet takes on RV storage: The City Council in Hemet, CA, is cracking down on RV parking violators. Councilmembers are divided on whether tightening enforcement of city parking rules should be a priority for city officials, or whether there are other issues of greater importance.

2. Wall Street Sees Positives in August Shipments: The RV industry has hit bottom and is on the way back, based on the latest wholesale shipments report released Sept. 25 by the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA). Three leading RV industry watchers each offered encouraging words following the August RV shipments release, which revealed that shipments rose 5.3% in August, to 17,800 units.

3. Green Tea: A Natural Alternative to Sugary Sodas: RV Health blogger Lynn Difley discusses the health benefits of drinking green tea. If you are looking for an alternative to soda, diet soda, or sugary beverage, green tea is an excellent (and tasty) choice that you can drink hot or iced.
