Remodeling a Boles Aero

In 1972 my parents took five of us across the country (CA all the way to Maine) in an 18′ 1958 Boles Aero trailer. My favorite memory was preparing for that trip. I ‘helped’ my father remove the household style refrigerator and replacing it with a ‘modern’ Dometic AND a household Window A/C. The trailer only had a gas heater, and we also replaced the ceramic toilet with a dometic that had an internal waste tank. It was literally converting an 18′ mobile home into a real travel trailer.
