Sitting on the shores of Buttonwood Sound, the 12-acre RV park puts countless recreational opportunities on RV doorsteps, but the resort is about a lot more than water sports. The park’s 60-foot-by-30-foot spaces, many of which are pull-through, give guests lots of elbowroom to stretch after a long drive down the Overseas Highway that links Key Largo to Miami and Key West. Free Wi-Fi connects RVers to the outside world, and a stroll across the park’s well-manicured grounds take guests to the park’s well-appointed clubhouse.
Shop at the convenience store and gift shop, or take your dog for a walk in a special, fenced-off area. Propane gas service and a pump-out stations are available, and a new self- and full-service laundry will ensure that your clothes are kept clean.
If you like seeing the surface of the water from a fan boat, head 45-minutes north to Everglades National Park. A different kind of wildlife thrives in Miami, an eclectic cosmopolitan hotspot just minutes away along the along the overseas highway.
If you prefer to stay local, the RV resort is just minutes from golf clubs, grocery stores, banks, fresh fish markets, bars, restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream parlors, the Key Largo charter boat fishing fleet and a community park with an Olympic size pool, children’s play pool and water park, lighted tennis courts, multi use sports courts, large fields and fully equipped children’s play ground.
