I encourage you to visit the Oscoda, Michigan area. Discover beautiful scenes and a healthy feeling due to good fresh air and lots of choices of things to do for family visits. Years ago it was known for the logging industry and it has a beautiful national forest there with fishing, golfing, sight seeing, and good clean experiences. They have a riverboat ride, a setting displaying logging experience, and very enjoyable outdoor setting. Located at mouth of Ausable River and Lake Huron on scenic route 23 in Michigan. Fish to be caught are Coho salmon, steelhead trout, perch, walleye, perch, and smelt netting nearby at Singing bridge. Canoe races finish line on Labor day. There are lots of campgrounds and motels in area. And it’s only approx 4 to 5 hours north of Toledo, Ohio.
