Howdy,
This is NOT my favorite RV memory, but one I’ll always remember!!!
We drove over 1000 miles one week to buy and pick up our MH, a 34′ 1997 GeorgieBoy Swinger (our first). We stopped for gas at a convenience store, where I had to pull in at an angle to miss a pickup parked in the way. Four hours we’ve had the MH and I take the bay door to the water/sewer compartment OFF… I cried so people thought I had been badly hurt… NOT HURT..but I could have committed suicide!!!
That same day we traveled to Magnolia, TX to see our nieces new home and meet her parents for a ‘campout’. We got to the RV park and my brother-in-law,who camps ALL of the time, helped us hook
up and then we all went to supper. When we returned WATER was RUNNING OUT THE SIDE OF THE MH!!!!! The toilet ran over…
I am handicapped and not much use for anything but driving, so, my wife had to clean up the mess. We were in deep East Texas with high humidity, so the air didn’t help dry us out. After we got got back to West Texas we opened up and it dried out. We still have the GBS and love to camp in it…
We fixed the toilet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
