Good Sam Parks in the Cascades
In Oregon, Hoodoo offers four RVing opportunities at its Good Sam parks located in the Cascades. Camp Sherman to the east sits at a lower elevation than most, is open year-round and offers early spring access to fishing the Metolius River Basin. Wi-Fi is available in the park. Some sites are full hook-up.
Further west, Patio RV Park also is open year-round but with limited facilities in the winter. Located on the McKenzie River, with waterfalls and fishing, Patio welcomes RVers for short and longer-term stays. Offering carports, storage sheds, cable and garbage service – and Wi-Fi of course and full hookups.
Back on the eastern slope, west of the town of Crescent, Crescent Junction offers shady but open, paved, full-hookup sites. Just down the road is Crescent Lake and the Crescent Lake Resort with 21 cabins. The resort offers boat slip rentals and rentals of all sorts of watersport equipment from boats to personal watercraft to paddle boards, kayaks and water cycles. The full-service Pines Bar & Grill serves breakfast, lunch and dinner Thursdays through Sundays during the summer. There is also a full cocktail bar and televisions for sports enthusiasts. All resort facilities are open to guests at Crescent Junction RV Park.
