Warranty Rebate
On July 31, 2009, we bought our first RV from RV Station in Nacogdoches, Texas, and also purchased a five-year XtraRide service agreement. On September 27, 2011, we traded in our Raptor for a new 2012 Montana fifth wheel. At that time, we chose not to transfer our XtraRide extended warranty and instead to receive a refund for the years left on the agreement. Per the instructions in our agreement packet, we contacted RV Station, and they said they’d take care of the cancellation for us.
Time went by, and we didn’t receive a check, so we called back. The representative said she didn’t know what happened and that she would attend to it right away. Time went by again with no check, so we called XtraRide and asked them if they’d received the cancellation notice, and they said they had not. They agreed to process the cancellation themselves, backdating it to October 2011, and send it to RV Station. However, they said that the refund check must come from RV Station.
When we returned from an extended RV trip and still had not received the check, we called RV Station, and June said she’d look into it and call us back. She hasn’t called back, and we haven’t received our refund.

Action Line : Shortly after Action Line got in touch with RV Station regarding the Newsoms’ complaint, the Good Sam members sent the following update: Thank you so much for petitioning RV Station on our behalf and helping us resolve this issue. They put our refund check in the mail the day you petitioned, and we received it today! You can be sure we’ll be singing the praises of Good Sam Club membership to all of our RVing friends for years to come.
