Kristy’s parents recently adopted a toy chihuahua. They call her “Baby Girl,” which seems like a strange name until you spend a little time with her. Then you realize that her name is perfect because she really is like a baby! She loves being held, and is happiest when snuggled up on a couch.

Sometimes she cries like a baby a little bit, too. Like many chihuahuas, Baby Girl is a bit nervous. She tends to get a little worried when she senses that circumstances are changing. For example, if Kristy’s parents are leaving the house, she begins to tremble. She doesn’t bark much, but her nervousness is obvious.
We’d love to take Baby Girl camping, but we’re not sure how she’ll take to it.
