Holiday Park Campground is the very best place to enjoy traditional family camping.  Located on the Choptank River Headwaters in a beautiful setting with 200 large wooded sites.

With so much to see and do in and around Holiday Park Campground, you will enjoy your stay. Their sites can accommodate any type of camping equipment, from a pup tent to a 40-foot bus with a tow-along. This is a fantastic location for church retreats, groups, clubs, rallies, reunions, receptions or even company picnics. Also, the owners have installed 50 new sewer sites for your convenience.

Gospel Concert Series

Simply stated, the activities at Holiday Park Campground and the surrounding area will exceed your expectations. Every year, the park features a superb Gospel Concert Series. The series is usually the first weekend of every month from May through October.  The terrific line-up features a variety of musical styles, each intended to praise the Lord and to lift the spirits of those in attendance. The schedule of performers presents six great evenings of music, with several groups performing each night.

Activities

In addition to the many scheduled activities, you can enjoy yourself in the large 2450 sq. ft. swimming pool, the large game room or one of their four playgrounds (one of which features our 26 ft. high robot slide). You can also play a game of tennis, shuffleboard, volleyball, basketball or horseshoes.

Aside from the full recreational facilities that are available for your use, Holiday Park Campground offers 4-miles of roads and trails, and the headwaters of the Choptank River, for fishing, canoeing and boating. Also offered are free hayrides, free CATV service, a lending library, movie rentals, free WiFi … all for your added enjoyment!

If you prefer, just lay back and relax. The pool and all of the recreational facilities are thoughtfully separated from our clean, spacious campsites, keeping noise levels as minimal as possible. In addition to the activities schedule for Holiday Park (listed below), there is a full calendar of annual activities in the surrounding area.

  • Holiday Park Campground is the closest campground to the Dover International Speedway, featuring a spring and fall NASCAR race.
  • Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum (St. Michaels, MD)
    The story of the Bay and its people are brought to life. Features the 1879 Hooper Strait Lighthouse and the world’s largest collection of traditional Bay boats.
  • Air Mobility Command Museum (Dover Air Force Base)
    Over 20,000 square feet of aircraft on display, plus a theatre, museum store and exhibit workshop. See aviation history come alive on an active airbase.
  • Historic Dover, Delaware
    The Capital of the First State, Dover is beautifully maintained and suitable for walking tours.
  • Annapolis, Maryland
    Maryland’s Capital is home of the U.S. Naval Academy. Tour the same streets that Washington and Jefferson walked over 200 years ago.
  • Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse, Maryland
    A historic lighthouse in the Chesapeake Bay and is the most recognizable lighthouse in Maryland.  It is the only screw-pile lighthouse in the bay which stands at its original site.
