Jackson, California is nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills in Amador County about 45 miles east of Sacramento and Stockton. It’s a great stopover on your way through Gold Country, up to Lake Tahoe or Reno, over to San Francisco or down to Yosemite.

The Jackson Rancheria RV Park is part of the Jackson Rancheria resort, which also includes a hotel and casino. The Jackson Rancheria band of Miwuk Indians owns and operates the resort, which was recently expanded to include a general store and gas station.

There are 100 paved sites. Pull-thrus measure 35’x 60’ while back-ins measure 35’x 45’. Modern restrooms with showers, a dump station and an LP station round out the amenities. Use of the 24-hour laundry facility is free of charge. Last year’s rates were $30-$55 per night. The park grants discounts for Good Sam Club, AAA and AARP members. Pets are welcome as long as there are no more than two per site. Only two vehicles are allowed per site.

Your stay at the RV park also grants you access to enjoy the heated pool and spas, fitness center, and all the other amenities of the Jackson Rancheria casino and hotel. Ride the free, 24-hour shuttle to travel between the RV park and the hotel and casino.

The resort is a fantastic place to relax and recharge between destinations on your trip through the West. Try your luck at one of the gaming tables (age 18 and over), or take in a show in the Grand Oak Ballroom. Feeling hungry? Chow down on some quality eats at one of the six dining establishments, from burgers to Vietnamese. There’s also a guest BBQ where you and your group can have your own cook-out. Catch some fresh air at the horseshoe pit, volleyball court or paved walking path.

Pick up a new book or magazine at the hotel gift shop. The gas station offers all grades of fuel (including diesel) and hosts a touch-free car wash and RV wash for your convenience.
