Stone Mountain Park sits as an urban oasis just minutes away from downtown Atlanta.

The park is home to the largest piece of exposed granite in the world, featuring 3,200 acres of activities for every member of the family.

Georgia’s most visited destination includes more than a dozen attractions, historical and natural sights, two Marriott hotels, two championship golf courses, expansive natural woodlands with hiking trails and the state’s largest campground.

Stone Mountain Camping

For those looking to “Rough It” a little more, the park offers Safari Tents which are made of canvas and have a wooden frame to support the tent.
