River’s End Hiking and biking trails are located throughout the area and as the park’s name suggests, a river runs into the ocean near the park. Swimming, fishing, boating, golfing, shopping, dining and more are all possibilities while visiting this Georgia camping destination!
For those who enjoy the outdoors, Lake Mayer, Horse Pen Creek, Skidaway Island State Park and Hunting Island State Park are all nearby. Many historical sites are close to the park, too, including Fort Pulaski National Monument. Savannah, Georgia, is only 15 miles away, offering dining, shopping and more. Golfing also is close to River’s End Campground.
