I stayed at the Baddeck Campground in the Fall of 2009. Its location is great for traveling the Cabot Trail in either direction, and the Alexander Graham Bell Museum is very nice. The RV sites were nice, and there were eagles nearby. The one problem that I had was that I could not get my Directv to work. I live in the Seacoast NH area, and I was told that Directv is not allowed in Canada. I’m not sure about that, because my Directv did work on Prince Edward Island.
The Cabot Trail is fantastic and very scenic! Some great photos! Some of the roads are in bad shape, however, and this was a problem on my motorcycle…I had to be careful. I took the ferry over from Prince Edward Island, and it was a nice ride. It is a good idea to call ahead to the ferry, and get there early!
