Visiting during the summer season? The Lowcountry is known for its perfect weather, and there’s no better way to cool down than a trip to Splash Zone Waterpark. This waterpark is nestled right inside James Island County Park and features attractions to keep the kids entertained for hours or, for those who just need a reprieve from the heat, a relaxing lazy river.

For a completely unique experience, plan your Charleston trip from mid-November to January 1st when James Island County Park transforms into the Holiday Festival of Lights.
