As you continue down I-19, which runs parallel the Gulf Coast, you can make a slight detour to view the world famous sunsets at Pier 60 on Clearwater Beach, which hosts nightly celebrations featuring street performers, artisans and crafters. Within 30 minutes of the pier, you’ll find Dunedin and Rainbow Village of Largo RV resorts nestled in this popular vacation destination. From Bradenton, you can follow I-75 to the popular area of Ft. Myers. Known for its deep-sea fishing, golfing, white-sand beaches and, of course, shelling at the nearby barrier islands of Sanibel and Captiva! The Edison & Ford Winter Estates, located less than thirty minutes from the world-class RV accommodations available at Indian Creek, Siesta Bay and Groves, is a historic Ft. Myers gem. You’ll get a glimpse into the personal lives of two great minds of the 20th century. The estate boasts over 20 acres of botanical gardens. Just south, in lovely Naples, is the historic Naples Pier located right on the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This pier is a favorite for sightseers and fishermen alike with plenty of room to cast your line . There’s no need to buy a fishing license since a bulk license is provided for the pier by the City of Naples. Take in gorgeous views of a spectacular sunset or enjoy lunch under the covered eating area with a convenient concession stand on the pier. Centrally located near many Naples attractions, including the pier. You’ll find find Lake San Marino, Club Naples, Marco Naples, and Naples RV resorts to relax at after a day of fun-filled activities.
