Your Campground for the Black Hills of South Dakota
Beaver Lake Campground has great rates, family camping and spacious, level, shaded sites to suit any size RV or tent. All sites have picnic tables and fire rings and all tent sites have 10′ X 12′ rain shelters, most are shaded and some even come with electricity. The campground is open from March 15 until November 10, 2019, however, we do take phone reservations all year. For 2019 we are not increasing our rates for Sturgis Rally week.
Don’t have a tent or RV? Then choose from our range of 9 cabins; all with a/c, heat, and cable TV, or our native style Tipis. We retired TP 14, changing it to an electric tent or RV site. We have a rental car available, free Wi-Fi, Heated Pools, 3 modern restroom/shower facilities plus one handicap/family bath, two laundry rooms, one playground, 2 sets of horseshoe pits, volleyball court, tetherball, basketball hoop and some lawn games.
We are within 30 minutes of all the natural beauty and activities of the Historic Black Hills – including Mount Rushmore! Our location is 3.5 miles west of the city of Custer on W. Highway 16. Your four-legged friends are welcome at our campground as long as they don’t disturb our other guests and are not aggressive.
Reserve your spot in April at our campground and cozy up with your friends and family around a warm campfire. Our average daytime temp in April is a cool 55° and there are usually 8 full hours of bright sunshine each day.
