This is a copy of an email I sent to the manager and or owner of the Gateway RV Park in Williams, AZ.

To: The Owners of Canyon Gateway RV Park.

My wife and I spent the night at Canyon Gateway RV Park arriving shortly after closing hours on 6/24/2011. The following morning as I was driving to the front office in my RV, I was approached by a Hispanic male operating a ATV near the office. I later learned that he was the Manager of the Canyon Gateway RV Park. The man informed me that I needed to park on the side of the office and take care of my business inside without blocking any portion of the office where vehicles traveled in and out of the park. The man’s voice tone and manner of speech made me believe he was talking to me in a condescending manner and tone, he appeared angry about something and was he seemed annoyed he was having to stop and deal with me. After the contact I thought he could have handled that in a more business like manner.

Inside the office, I encountered two employees dealing with an elderly man and two elderly women. There was a disagreement on the date of arrival being on a Wednesday evening or on Thursday. The manager entered the office and began addressing the customers in a seemingly annoyed state clearly detectable by his manner and voice tones regarding the dispute. The manager all but called the elderly customers liars. The entire incident involving the manager and his behavior made me very uncomfortable while I stood by as an innocent bystander waiting to complete my business.

When traveling through Williams, Arizona. I always stay at the Canyon Gateway RV Park. However, after witnessing this incident and the managers unprofessional behavior, to me and dealing with the other customers. I will have to give thought for any future over night stays at your RV Park.

It is very possible that this email will be received by the Park Manager and deleted without any regards to the incident. However, I believe that “Good Sam’s” should be made aware of this incident.

The Park Manager’s behavior was irresponsible in the day to day operations of a business he manages at the RV Park. RV customers should not have to be exposed to this type of behavior or have to deal with unprofessional business practices.

Acknowledgement of this email would be appreciated.

I have not received any response to my email informing them of the incident.

    Respectfully Submitted
