Absaroka Bay RV Park

Welcome to Absaroka Bay RV Park.  We are located in the beautiful little town of Cody, Wyoming.  Just 50 miles from the east entrance to Yellowstone National Park.

Absaroka Bay RV Park - rodeoCody is the “Rodeo Capitol of the World”

Come visit our excellent museum or cheer and laugh at the rodeo.  The Cody Nite Rodeo started in 1938 and is the longest running and the only nightly rodeo in the world.  Be sure to arrive early and have your picture taken on our live rodeo bull “Mongo”.  Get your face painted by the rodeo clowns, learn to rope like the cowboys and cowgirls.  And shop our souvenir store.

From the turn of the century, rodeos and parades have been a part of the 4th of July here in Cody.  Officially starting in 1919, the Cody Stampede Rodeo has been held every summer.  This event established Cody as not only one of the longest running successful professional rodeos, but also the only place in the country that has a rodeo performance nightly.
