In 2009, Good Sam Club members chose Susan and Monty Scales as our RVers of the Year. Susan and Monty were professional housing contractors who in 2005 borrowed a trailer and headed south to help families rebuild their battered homes following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, effectively becoming missionaries. All materials used to rebuild the homes are at no cost to the homeowner or the volunteers.  They locate the funding, organize the volunteers and continue week after week until the house is returned to a home. Since they have started, they have not stopped. It is for these reasons that they have been voted the 2009 RVers of the Year. Please take a moment to view this video clip of their efforts.  Video courtesy of WLOX in Biloxi, MS.
